Bayan Muna Representative teddy Casino warned President Aquino not to follow former Presient Arroyo’s example by appointing a member of his cabinet as chief justice.

casino made the call amid the submission of some 38 applications and nominations for the post, which include the names of Justice Secretary Leila de Lima and Internal revenue Commissioner Kim Jacino Henares.

House Speaker Sonny Belmonte has created a committee to review the filed statements of assets, liabilities and net worth of congressmen which will also formulate the rules for its release to the public.

In Special Order 05-12, Belmonte appointed Erico Aumentado as chairman of the committee, with Giorgidi Aggabao, Tomas Apacible, Rodolfo Antonino and Rufus Rodriguez as members.
