I am floored and humbled by the attention and the goodwill. frankly i am also surprised! hahaha. im not exaclty the most lovable, most approachable, and friendliest person on earth. Statement from House Majority Leader Neptali Gonzales

It is the consistent stand of the House as provided for in the constitution that a member may be suspended only for misconduct in office by majority vote of all the members. Even in this case it must be committed during His term as a member of the HOR . PGMA is being prosecuted for alleged acts she committed before she became a congresswoman and there beyond the jurisdiction of the ethics committee. Hence, any suspension order by the Sandiganbayan will not be enforced.
